Pope Leo's Prayer Intention for:

October

The Pope’s prayer intention for the month of October is:- For mental health ministry.  Let us pray that the mental health ministry be established throughout the Church, helping to overcome the stigma and discrimination of persons with mental illness.
September: The Season of Creation
This annual observance, stretching from 1st September to 4th October (Day of St. Francis of Assisi), aims to raise awareness about the urgency to care for creation as a response to the ecological crisis..

24hr Live-stream

Here at St. Mary of the Angels we have a live-stream camera which gives a 'virtual access' to the church 24hrs a day. As well as providing a facility that enables the sick, the housebound, and those who have moved away from the parish the ability to join us for our regular services, it also offers an opportunity for all, at any time, to enter through the doors of the church to pray before the Lord. Live-streaming of the Mass, and any other service, cannot and must not be thought of as 'equal' to being physically present in the church, however, for those who cannot attend it enables them to feel part of the parish community.  Below you can access to the live-stream by clicking the play symbol, and in the bottom right corner of the picture there is the ability to expand the image to 'full-screen'.
